The ship left the anchorage at Sassafras
River on Wednesday morning after a dory row and
traveled back toward the canal for an anchorage
off Town Point Neck and the Bohemia River. You
can see the color change in the tracks over the
two days. The Solstice
passed and was marked in time in pastel and
charcoal. Seth's fish is caught here on film as
everyone lined up with Kim Andrade along the aft
cabin top. You'll be able to see more at
Artworks! in New Bedford in the Fall.
Just this morning we're
underway again to go back through the Canal and
have made the entrance as you can see on the
chart.
Jonathan, Fred and Sophie (and
others aboard) got dressed up for the Solstice
2000! It does call for a celebration don't you
think?
