All hands up and to the windlass again this morning by 0605 to haul back the anchor and get underway from Apponagansett for New Bedford Harbor.

We dock at Tonnessen Park on State Pier by 0830 for disembarkation of the Upward Bound Group. Great Sail!

After a crew switch and very quick turn around, the ship is prepared for the next overnight program with the National Association of Interpretation.

The group arrives at 1545 for a short preliminary orientation before getting underway by main engine at 1635 for anchorage off Nonquitt in Apponagansett Bay. Here we continue orientation and set anchor watches for the night. At anchor by 1930.

Wind: SW'ly light.
Visibility: Good

Captain: Amanda Madeira/Willi Bank
Program Coordinators: Inette Rex/Crista Mellican

We would like to thank Lotus and IBM for donation of software, hardware and funding to enable regular electronic updates from the ship.
