Anchor watches kept an eye to the weather
overnight as we expected a cold front to pass
after midnight with a promise of rain. By
breakfast time the front had not yet passed, but
the sky looked threatening. We began field
day and once underway, the wind and rain
began. It had quite a punch to it as winds blew
Force 6 and 7 before abating. We motored our
clean ship into New Bedford by noon and had our
last muster of our wonderful four day trip with
St. Margaret McTernan School.. Wind: SW'ly, Force 3 rising to Force 6/7
and shifting W'ly
Visibility: Sunny, Excellent reduced with frontal
passage
