Merchant Mariners Club Sail organized by Vic Bala This sail was great fun with the music of Beche aboard and a sail on the Cape Verdean Schooner Ernestina.Traudi brought the photo albums along. David Pires took a turn at the helm. He sailed as a young man aboard during the late forties when the ship was a trans-Atlantic packet Thanks so much to Vic Bala (shown on the far right in the second photo below right) for his great effort to organize this sail! Vic came aboard with his son and grandson.
