Willi Bank fits lead ballast
back into the bilge in the fish hold. It will be capped with
cement once again.
A cement mixer is used to
prepare concrete that is poured from the outside to fill the
voids between frames, keel and keelson. This will promote bilge
water flow alongside the keelson and allow us to keep the bilges
cleaner and free of debris.
Willi Bank and Paul Anthony
pour in the concrete. It took three 80 pound bags per frame.
Concrete is transferred from
mixer to pail.
