Ships to save the Waters Conference runs into second day today.

After helping set up in the morning and take care of the ship, the students went off on the ferry to the Statue of Liberty where they were able to climb the narrow stairway to the crown. Next stop was Ellis Island to look for names of ancestors who came to America by sea.

The Conference kept on ashore with great panelists, exhibitors and music. Pete is shown during an interview at the waterfront.
