The Ernestina took on water in Block Island Sound during the third day of the UMASS Boston program in the morning on July 24th. Click on the individual dates to the left for more information about what transpired day by day and the follow-up going forward. There will be updates continuing on this webpage as the ship continues on through a haulout.

Ernestina was underway back to her homeport by 4 pm the 31st. Click the '31' to the left to see a chart image and short description.

Schooner Ernestina makes New Bedford by 6:30 am on August 1
