We came to the dockside at New Bedford
State Pier at midday in the midst of a strong
wind and drizzle. After getting together for a
final departure from the ship, The Sound School
was on up into the New Bedford Whaling National
Historical Park to explore, this time by land.
Now, there's one hardy crew for you! Great trip! To The Tune "I Say a Little
Prayer":
I woke up this morning
found it was raining

I put a little rain gear on
Have Breakfast Breakfast

For ever and ever you'll
stay in our heart
Thank you Laurie
We're cleaning and
scrubbing we're cleaning bunks out ...
A Watch had the duty of
creating the web write-up while we made our final
approach to the dock at State Pier in New
Bedford. A successful circumnavigation
around Cape Cod brought everyone together as
"The Crew.' Though the weather was a
little frightful we survived and had a great
time.
The high wind and rain was
enough to indicate the cancellation of the
evening sail for members. So the Ernestina is at
dock now for several days.
